Alexis Mac Allister says two Liverpool academy players have really impressed him

Alexis Mac Allister has lauded Conor Bradley and Bobby Clark after the Liverpool youngster’s performance against Arsenal earlier this month.

The academy duo were both brought on for the Reds in north London in the FA Cup third-round, with Bradley and Clark playing their parts in helping Liverpool claim a 2-0 win.

The youngsters are part of the new generation of Liverpool players that have impressed this season, with the likes of Jarell Quansah, Ben Doak and Luke Chambers all catching the eye this campaign.

And speaking to Liverpool’s official website, Mac Allister has now highlighted how impressed he has been in recent weeks with Bradley and Clark.

Indeed, the duo have both established themselves as two of Liverpool’s most exciting prospects, and the pair will want to continue to feature for Jurgen Klopp’s side this season.

Mac Allister said: “You can see in the [Arsenal] game – Conor [Bradley], Bobby [Clark] – players from the Academy are doing very well and that helped the team to grow every single day in training and in the games.”

Mac Allister has impressed in his first season at Liverpool, with the midfielder attracting respect having done quite a lot already in his footballing career.

And on Merseyside, the Argentine international could establish himself as a mentor for Liverpool’s academy prospects, namely Bradley and Clark.

As we know, the duo have caught Mac Allister’s eye in recent weeks after their impressive cameos off the bench against Arsenal in the FA Cup.

And for Mac Allister, the midfielder can become a mentor for the youngsters, who could both soon become key members of Liverpool’s senior squad.
