Liverpool’s main priority this summer will be to reinforce the defence. However, the club could look to strengthen in the attack as well.
Mohamed Salah’s long-term future is still uncertain at Anfield. Meanwhile, Roberto Firmino was never truly replaced after leaving last summer. Given the injury record of Jurgen Klopp’s other attackers – signing another option would be a smart investment.
The option would ideally need to be versatile – who can play anywhere across the front three. And he’d need to be young as well with a lot of potential. Available for the right price, of course. Liverpool won’t want to spend too much.
Fortunately, there is a Liverpool target who ticks all of those boxes, and he looks to be available this summer.

Maximilian Beier Liverpool latest
Maximilian Beier is a player who is on Liverpool’s radar. Lauded by Hoffenheim’s sporting director Alexander Rosen as ‘incredibly fast’, Beier’s exactly the type of forward who Liverpool like to target.
And according to Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg the 21-year-old forward who has 10 goal contributions this season will be available for just €30m roughly the equivalent of £25m – due to having a release clause in his contract.
For now, the youngster is not looking to move this month. But he is definitely one to watch in the summer window. Beier has everything you could possibly want and the fact that he is averaging a goal or assist every 103 minutes in the Bundesliga is really impressive.
