Liverpool have plenty of youngsters in the club’s academy who are the sons of former Premier League players.
Last week we wrote about the impressive performances of Lewis Koumas, the son of Jason, who once played for the likes of Wigan.
We also mentioned Keyrol Figueroa, who is the son of Maynor – again another former Wigan player.
But there is also Jayden Danns – the son of Neil, who played for several Premier League clubs during his distinguished career.

Danns has been in terrific form for the club’s academy. This season he has already scored 17 goals in just 16 games.
As This is Anfield journalist, Jack Lusby pointed out, Danns has also averaged a goal or assist every 63.2 minutes at academy level this season.
Over the weekend, Danns hit yet another new landmark in his progress at Liverpool. The youngster made his debut for the club’s U21 team in the Premier League 2. And in true Danns fashion he celebrated that debut by scoring in a 4-2 defeat to Brighton.
Another goal at now a higher age-group will definitely attract the interest of Jurgen Klopp’s first team and get him closer to the senior set-up. At this rate, it’s only a matter of time until Danns is given a chance to impress Klopp and his coaching staff in the first team.
The 17-year-old is definitely one to keep a close eye on.
