Liverpool will reportedly be unable to sign Juventus teenager Kenan Yildiz in the January transfer window due to former Everton star Moise Kean.
The Turkish international has been strongly linked with a move to Anfield with Liverpool interested in signing the 18-year-old striker as part of Jurgen Klopp’s long-term rebuild of the Reds.
Reportedly valued at £34m, Yildiz is regarded as one of Europe’s most exciting prospects having broken into Juventus’ senior team this season, making six Serie A appearances from the bench.

However, according to CalcioMercato, the Old Lady have now decided to make Yildiz unavailable for transfer after Kean picked up a tibia problem, ruling the former Toffee striker out for weeks.
Indeed, the injury means that Yildiz could now get a run out in the Juventus first-team, with good performances potentially increasing the attacker’s asking price even further.
And for Liverpool, this new will come as a blow for their January plans, though Yildiz could benefit greatly from staying at Juventus until the end of the season.
Kenan Yildiz can earn Liverpool move in the summer after Juventus run

With Kean out injured, there’s a good chance that Yildiz can now start to pick up some real minutes with Juventus as the Old Lady head into the Italian festive period.
Although Liverpool would have wanted to sign Yildiz in January, allowing the youngster to develop naturally at Juventus in one of the best leagues in the world could be a blessing in disguise.
Whilst it could increase Yildiz’s asking price come the summer, the forward might develop into an outstanding attacking prospect if given the chance by Massimiliano Allegri to impress.
And if Juventus are ambitious, they should be turning to Yildiz to replace Kean, with Liverpool hopeful that the forward can develop in the coming weeks with the former Everton man out injured.
