Paul Scholes has lauded Mohamed Salah after Liverpool’s 0-0 draw against Premier League rivals Manchester United.
The Reds’ 100% winning streak at Anfield came to an end this evening as Jurgen Klopp’s side were held at home against the Red Devils.
Whilst Salah himself was criticised by the likes of Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville, United knew going into the game that the Liverpool winger would be the dangerman for the Reds.

And speaking to Premier League Productions, Scholes highlighted the problems Salah could have caused United if given the chance, with the pundit clearly a big fan of the winger.
Scholes said: “He’s annoying for us [Manchester United] but he’s brilliant, as you saw with the finishes there. But yeah, as you say, it’s the big games, when it matters.
“He’s always there with goals against Manchester City, Manchester United. You always think how can we stop him, we should be able to because a lot his goals are similar when he cuts in from that right side. You know what’s coming but he’s got that much quality you just can’t stop it.”
Mohamed Salah will be disappointed with how Liverpool performed vs Manchester United

Going into this match, many expected Salah to have a field day this afternoon against United given how poor the Red Devils have been historically against Liverpool.
Yet come full-time, the attacker will be disappointed with how he performed against the Red Devils, with the entire Liverpool squad also likely to be down about how they turned up this Sunday.
Indeed, Salah knows he and the team have to bounce back next weekend against Arsenal, and a win against the Gunners will reignite hope that the Premier League title is on this season.
