Fabrizio Romano has now shared what RB Leipzig have now told Liverpool in talks over Fabio Carvalho’s loan deal.
The Bundesliga side face a battle with the Reds to keep hold of the 21-year-old winger, with Liverpool eager to terminate Carvalho’s loan deal with Leipzig over a lack of playing time.
The former Fulham star has hardly featured for the UEFA Champions League club this season, and as a result, Liverpool want to bring Carvalho back to Anfield ahead of the January window.

However, as per Romano on Twitter, Leipzig are not going to let Carvalho leave without a fight, with the German side now fighting to keep hold of the playmaker for the rest of the season.
Indeed, Leipzig’s stance on Carvalho is an unusual one given how little the Liverpool youngster has actually played for the Bundesliga club this campaign.
And for Liverpool, they should be allowed to exercise their right to bring Carvalho back to Anfield if they feel the 21-year-old’s development is not going anywhere out on loan with Leipzig.
RB Leipzig need to let Fabio Carvalho return to Liverpool

Given that Leipzig were reportedly keen on signing Carvalho permanently in the summer, it’s pretty clear to see why the Bundesliga side want to keep the winger around despite a lack of minutes.
There’s good profit to be made from Carvalho if the attacker can resume developing and become a regular for a top-flight European side, such as a Leipzig.
However, given that Liverpool still own Carvalho and intends to use the winger in the future, the Reds should use their power to bring the youngster back to Anfield.
It’s clear that Leipzig were never going to use Carvalho regularly having failed to sign the forward for good, and Liverpool must now rescue the Portuguese youngster heading into January.
