Kenan Yildiz reportedly has no interest in leaving Juventus in January having been linked with a move to Liverpool next month.

The Turkish international has been strongly rumoured with a move to Anfield having broken into Juventus’ senior squad this season, with the 18-year-old also impressing for his country.

With an asking price of £34m, Juventus are reportedly open to cashing in on Yildiz, especially when the likes of Liverpool and also Arsenal are interested in signing the teenage prospect.

However, according to Tuttosport, the player himself has little interest in quitting Turin in January even for a move to one of the Premier League’s biggest clubs.

Indeed, with Yildiz yet to become a regular for Juventus, it makes sense why the attacking midfielder might be sold on making a switch to England just yet in his career.

And for Liverpool, this decision from Yildiz could be a wise one in the years to come, with the Turkish international clearly not ready to yet to make the move to Anfield despite his potential.

Liverpool should try for Kenan Yildiz in a few more years

At 18, Yildiz is still very much at the start of his career, with the youngster only making a handful of professional appearances for Juventus.

And as a result, Liverpool could be smart to let Yildiz dictate his future for himself, with the youngster clearly aware that he has to do more before he can grant himself a move to the Premier League.

The Turkish international is set for a big 2024 with the Euros coming up with Turkey and more opportunities to feature for Juventus.

And Liverpool might be fine with Yildiz doing what he wants to dor rather than forcing a move next month, with a stay in Turin likely for the best for the youngster.
