Micah Richards has claimed that Harvey Elliott would start for every Premier League side despite not being a regular for Liverpool in the XI.
The 20-year-old midfielder was the hero for the Reds on the weekend as Elliott came off the bench to score against Crystal Palace in stoppage time to secure a 2-1 win for Liverpool.
One of England’s most exciting prospects, Elliott has been a brilliant super sub for Jurgen Klopp’s side this campaign, yet it’s clear that the youngster can do more.

And speaking on The Rest is Football podcast, Richards claimed that Elliott is good enough to start for every other Premier League club, even if the midfielder can’t break into Liverpool’s strongest XI.
“Harvey Elliott, he is almost not ready to play week in week out for Liverpool but he could play in any other Premier League team. He just gets on the ball, finds space and makes things happen.
“I feel he is too good to be on the bench but you wouldn’t leave this Liverpool side, if you know what I mean. I just think the changes that Klopp made were brilliant.”
Liverpool know they have a star on their hands in Harvey Elliott

Elliott might not be a regular in Liverpool’s starting XI just yet, but the Reds are fully aware of the talent they currently have on their hands.
The England youth international is one of the most exciting prospects in the Premier League, with Liverpool doing well to sign Elliott from Fulham when they did in his career.
And whilst the youngster isn’t there just yet with Liverpool, Elliott will soon reach a stage where he is a regular in Klopp’s starting XI alongside the likes of Dominik Szoboszlai and Ryan Gravenberch.
Indeed, Elliott is a once-in-a-lifetime talent, and Liverpool know they can get the best out of the youngster when the time comes for the youngster.
