Jorginho has named Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah as one of the best players the Arsenal midfielder has ever faced in the Premier League.
The Italian international has been a staple in the English top-flight ever since making the move from Napoli to Chelsea in 2018, with Jorginho holding Salah in high regard.
Since moving to Merseyside in 2017 for £34m, the Egyptian winger has been one of the best attackers in world football, and Salah has now been highly praised by the Arsenal midfielder in an interview with the Athletic.

Jorginho said when asked about the best players he’s ever faced off against: “Kevin de Bruyne is ridiculous. But Salah in that period, he was another level. I think I would put Salah first.
“That season was unbelievable, you could not stop him, he was so strong, powerful and fast. His mentality. However he would shoot, if you touched the ball it would go in.
“So for me that season he had was unbelievable. Then in terms of intelligence on the pitch Kevin is another level as well, it’s so hard to make him because he’s always in the right place, always on your shoulders. I would say these two.”
Jorginho knows better than most how good Mohamed Salah is

Having faced off against Salah in both the Premier League and Serie A, Jorginho knows better than most players what it’s really like to take on the Liverpool superstar.
At 31, the winger is showing no sign of slowing down with the Reds as Salah now stands just one goal away from scoring his 200th in all competitions with Liverpool.
Indeed, with the Anfield side also taking on Arsenal in the Premier League title race, Salah will want to get the best of Jorginho when the two meet later this month on Merseyside.
And after the Italian’s recent comments, Salah could be spurred on to put on a special performance against the Gunners at Anfield, where a shift in the Premier League title race could be about to happen.
