PSG are reportedly interested in Liverpool-linked Leny Yoro, and the French champions are now putting in the work to sign the teenager.

The youngster has exploded onto the scene this season with LOSC Lille, with Liverpool now reportedly tracking Yoro ahead of the January transfer window.

And now, according to Foot Mercato, PSG are working around the clock to sign Yoro, with the defender emerging as a top target for Luis Enrique’s side going into 2024.

A player who France’s U-21 manager Thierry Henry is a huge fan of as per Le 10 Sport, it’s easy to see why some of Europe’s biggest clubs are now chasing Yoro.

Yet for Liverpool, PSG entering the race for the 18-year-old could be the worst-case scenario for Jurgen Klopp’s side given the reputation the Pariaisn side have in French football.

Indeed, whilst Anfield could be appealing for Yoro, the lure of the Parc des Princes might be too much for Liverpool to handle as the youngster prepares to leave Lille next year.

Yoro is clearly on the path to stardom having broken into Lille’s regular starting XI and now beginning to make waves for France’s premier youth side under Henry.

And whilst Liverpool could be well-suited for Yoro, PSG’s influence on the Ligue 1 market and beyond in France might be a major issue for the Premier League giants.

As we know, the Paris-based side are eager to sign a young defender in January, with Yoro the perfect candidate for such a signing at PSG.

With Liverpool unlikely to match whatever the reigning French giants are offering for Yoro, this transfer battle could be over before it’s even started for the Reds.
