Khephren Thuram has reportedly been recommended by Real Madrid despite Liverpool being strongly interested in the OGC Nice star.
The Reds have been linked with the French international for some time, with Jurgen Klopp reportedly keen on bringing Thuram to Liverpool in the January transfer window.
However, according to agent Oscar Damiani, Madrid could now be the chase for Thuram, with the former Juventus player revealing he’s recommended the youngster to Carlo Ancelotti.

Viewed by the aforementioned Serie A club as a replacement for Paul Pogba, interest is high in Thuram as we head into the January transfer window.
And Liverpool could now face competition for Thuram, with Damiani saying about the midfielder: “Khephren is a very technical player and plays all over the pitch.
“He has more class but less strength than his brother [Marcus Thuram]. Where would I see Khephren doing well? At Real Madrid. I recommended him to Carlo Ancelotti.”
Liverpool can’t allow Khephren Thuram to join Real Madrid

Valued at £60m according to the most recent rumours, Thuram has enjoyed quite the season with Nice, who have statistically been one of the best sides in Europe’s top-five leagues this campaign.
And for Liverpool, they can’t allow the youngster to make the move to Madrid, with the midfielder simply too good to slip through their fingers.
With Madrid already beating the Reds to the likes of Aurelien Tchouameni and Jude Bellingham, signing Thuram would be quite the blow for Liverpool going into 2024.
As a result, the Anfield side must now start putting in work to sign Thuram, who could be an exceptional addition for Klopp heading into the new year.
