Manchester City and Manchester United reportedly fear that Liverpool will win the race to sign Florian Wirtz next year.
According to the Daily Star, the Reds’ interest in the Bayer Leverkusen star has changed the dynamic of the transfer battle for the £80m-rated youngster, with Jurgen Klopp’s side having an edge in any deal.
As per the report, the Liverpool manager’s contacts in Germany as well as his reputation in the Bundesliga could be enough to swing the transfer in Liverpool’s favour.
