Johan Bakayoko is reportedly still being tracked by top European clubs, with Liverpool linked with the PSV Eindhoven winger in the summer.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Belgian youngster remains wanted heading into the January transfer window, where Bakayoko is likely to be subject to quite a lot of interest from big sides on the continent.
One such club could be Liverpool, who were reportedly interested in signing the PSV superstar in the summer amid rumours that Mohamed Salah was going to leave Anfield.
Lauded by Football Talent Scout as an ‘explosive’ winger, Bakayoko is regarded by many as one of the most exciting attacking prospects playing in the UEFA Champions League this season.
And Romano’s update on Bakayoko could hint at a potential move from Liverpool, especially with Salah expected to leave for Saudi Arabia in 2024.
Liverpool need to consider Bakayoko move in January

At 20-years-old, Bakayoko already has the world at his feet with PSV, with the winger writing his name into Champions League folklore with his goal last night against RC Lens.
And interest is only going to spike for Bakayoko, with Liverpool a potential suitor for the youngster as Jurgen Klopp continues his search for a Salah replacement.
Whilst a January move might be unlikely, Bakayoko could be a smart addition for Liverpool heading into 2024, with half of Europe set to battle it out for the winger’s signature in the coming months.
