Premier League scouts are heading to Brazil to watch Liverpool target Andre Trindade in action next weekend
Andre has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool, with a transfer in January not out of the question.
And as he prepares to play the biggest game of his career next weekend, Football Transfers claim that the 22-year-old is now on the radar of plenty of teams besides the Reds.
With the Copa Libertadores set to take place on November 4th, they claim that head scouts from ‘several’ Premier League clubs are preparing to watch Andre.

The Brazil international is said to be still ‘liked’ by Liverpool, but talks are reportedly yet to take place.
Arsenal have also been named as having particularly strong interest in Andre, but Football Transfers claim that conversations have not been opened with the Gunners either.
As a result, there appears to be a number of English sides still in the running. All of whom will seemingly be in Rio de Janeiro a week on Saturday. Other players on scouts’ radar’s are said to be Valentin Barco and Ezequiel Fernandez of Boca Juniors, and John Kennedy and Alexsander of Fluminense.
English scouts set for South America
By now, the secret is well and truly out about Andre.
Back in the summer, Liverpool would perhaps have been signing a player relatively unknown to a European audience.
But given the high-profile nature of the Reds supposed pursuit of him, Andre has become familiar to many. No doubt amateur scouts have been perusing his YouTube highlights as much as possible.

Still, you can’t beat watching a player in person, and next Saturday’s Copa final will be a good judge of that.
For Andre, he is set to be a key figure in whether Flu win the first title in their history. If he can handle that kind of pressure in-front of a baying home crowd at Maracana, then he’s ready for European football.
If he does not, then perhaps some of the watching scouts will decide that the Brazil international isn’t for them.
From a Liverpool point of view, it would seem that the Reds recruitment team have already made their mind up about Andre. Whether that’s enough for them to pull the trigger in January, we’ll see.
