Arsenal reportedly ‘like the look’ of Fluminense midfielder Andre Trindade, who Liverpool are also keen to sign.
According to 90min, the Gunners are keeping tabs on the Brazilian talent as Mikel Arteta looks to add a midfielder to his ranks in the January transfer window.
Aston Villa’s Douglas Luiz is another target for the north London side heading into 2024, and Andre also appears to be on Arsenal’s radar, much to Liverpool’s dismay.

The Merseyside giants have been linked with the 22-year-old for quite some time now, with Liverpool believed to be readying a move for Andre in January.
However, Arsenal’s new interest in the midfielder could be a hammer blow for Liverpool, with the Gunners arguably the more alluring club heading into the new year.
Indeed, Liverpool missing out on Andre to Arsenal would be seismic, and the Reds can’t allow their Premier League rivals to win the race for the Brazilian in 2024.
Liverpool need to step up their interest in Andre

Liverpool’s interest in Andre dates back as far as the start of this summer, and losing out to Arsenal for the youngster would be quite the blow for the Reds.
Midfield is clearly an area of the pitch that Jurgen Klopp is keen to add to in the summer, and Andre would be an ideal signing based off his obvious qualities.
As a result, the Anfield side have to step up their interest in Andre with Arsenal now lurking in the shadows for the Fluminense superstar.
