Jurgen Klopp has spoken out over the Liverpool rebuild and thinks fans need to stay in the present rather than looking too far ahead.
In quotes published by the Express, the Liverpool boss has explained that things are only just getting started.
The Reds made four signings in the most recent window, attempting to revolutionise their midfield after multiple departures.
Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis MacAllister, Ryan Gravenberch and Wataru Endo all came in to add to the conversation.
With the departures of Fabinho, Jordan Henderson, Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and James Milner, they were much-needed additions.
As a result of the mass exodus, there is a slight lack of depth in the midfield department at Liverpool right now.
In a 3-1 win against LASK, Klopp rotated to give a debut to Gravenberch, but MacAllister and Szoboszlai both came on.
The rebuild project is still in full swing but it is going to take time, that is for sure.

What has Jurgen Klopp said?
Prior to the game, the German had made it clear that he felt Liverpool were far away from a complete squad.
With that being said, he was overall positive with his side while talking to the Express.
Asked about the need for a rebuild, he said: “We decided last year already that we have to change a lot but that we want to change it for good and not because we have to.”
The offers coming in from Saudi Arabia for certain players almost forced Liverpool’s arm into speeding up the process.
The prospect of a rebuild still excites the manager: “Yeah, I’m really excited about that and still am.
“We are [good at] a lot of things already. A lot of exciting moments in the games.”
This optimism was matched by some realism from Klopp who understood the challenge he and his squad will face.
On the frailties, the manager said: “We are really not there, we are not stable yet.
“I think that’s a good start, not more. But as a start, it’s absolutely OK.”
With the signings made so far, there is a good precedent being set and it is exciting to think that the team is only going to improve.
