Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp praised debutant Ryan Gravenberch after his first start for the club in the 3-1 victory over LASK last night.
The 21-year-old played a pivot role in midfield, even providing a beautiful assist for Luis Diaz to put Liverpool ahead for the first time in the game.
Although it was the Dutchman’s first start for four months, you wouldn’t have guessed as he put in a solid display before limping off in the second half.
There was concern from Liverpool supporters when they saw the 21-year-old midfielder being substituted, however, Klopp insists the issue was only cramp and not a serious problem.

Jurgen Klopp on ‘super’ Ryan Gravenberch
Speaking to TNT Sports after the victory, the Liverpool boss was quick to recognise the 21-year-old after his display.
“Ryan [Gravenberch] played a super game and was really decisive for us.
“(He played) very good, it was his first start for a while I think and he did really well.

“For a long time, he was the best player on the pitch and in the first-half frustration grew a little bit and you saw him getting lost a little bit.
“But that’s normal these things happen but he stayed in the game as long as he could and had really good moments, set up a good goal for Luis Diaz and for not knowing a lot about his team-mates it looked pretty tuned.”
Gravenberch will be looking to make his first Premier League start on Sunday when the Reds host West Ham United at Anfield.
