Jurgen Klopp threw young winger Ben Doak into the action for Liverpool last night as they saw off LASK in the Europa League.
The Reds won out 3-1 in the end as a harder than imagined clash meant the volume had to be turned up on the performance in the second half.
In the end, Liverpool had too much and young winger Doak – who played an hour – can b ehappy with his night’s work.
Ben Doak impresses teammates with Liverpool debut v LASK
There’s been a lot of talk about Doak in pre-season and it does very much seem like Liverpool have signed themselves a bit of a geam.

Despite not quite having the impact he might wanted to have on a personal level, Doak didn’t look out of place at all in the Liverpool first-team. And his efforts and performance level was not lost on some of his teammates.
Taking to Instagram after the game to celebrate the win and his full debut, Doak had plenty of replies down in the comments appearing to sing his praises.
Two of those comments came from teammates Cody Gakpo and Jarrell Quansah, who both suggested the young winger was on fire.

RTK’s View: A star of the future
We’ve seen some top young players emerge at Liverpool in the last few years. But there is something about Ben Doak that gets us really excited.
He has everything that a young forward in wide areas needs. Pace, trickery, ability to beat a man and also a keen eye for goal when it’s on.
Doak is going to be a star for this Liverpool team and whether that is this season or down the line, Reds fans will be excited to see just how good he can become.
Once again, the recruitment team have got it bang on in landing young Doak.
