Mohamed Salah seemed in a relaxed mood last night, despite rumours swirling that he could leave Liverpool.
Salah has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia all summer, but with his agent vocally denying that the Egyptian will leave, there didn’t seem to be much in it.
That all changed last night. The Athletic, among plenty of others, reporting that Pro League side Al Ittihad are ready to go all out to take Mo from Anfield.

As the Liverpool fanbase waited for Salah – or his usually forthright agent Ramy Abbas Issa – to come out and publicly reassure them, Mo stepped up to the plate. Kind of.
Taking to Twitter at around 9.30pm last night, the 31-year-old posted a nonchalant selfie. Dressed in a very pink turtleneck and a blue bandana, Salah looked like he’d just come out of a screening of ‘Barbie.’ Perhaps he had. Either way, we need something more concrete from him soon.

Salah relaxed amid Saudi rumours
In the absence of a definitive rebuttal from Salah, we’re going to need something from Jurgen Klopp today.
The Liverpool manager is set to speak to the press this morning ahead of his team’s game against Newcastle on Sunday. There’ll be a few burning questions for Jurgen to answer.
Top of the pile after last night’s reporting though, will be ‘just what is going on with Mo?’
Klopp answered the question last week in fairness to him. When pushed to respond to suggestions that either Alisson Becker or Salah could leave for Saudi Arabia, the boss said it wasn’t something he was expecting.
However, he also didn’t completely rule it out, either.
“On outgoings side from my side, nothing will happen. But I learned a lot of things in this window so we will see on that,” Jurgen said.
On the back of the strength of reports last night, Klopp’s going to have to be a lot stronger than that in his responses on Salah today. Fingers crossed we don’t get the news we’ve all been dreading since yesterday.
