Tyler Morton is reportedly set to be handed a chance with Liverpool’s first-team this summer in pre-season, with the midfielder recently returning from loan.
According to the Athletic, the 20-year-old youngster will be handed a chance by Jurgen Klopp to impress in Liverpool’s senior squad having just spent a season with Blackburn Rovers, with Morton regarded as one of the Reds’ most exciting prospects.
Morton has already featured for Liverpool’s first team and is on track to becoming a full member of Klopp’s squad if things go well in the next 12 months, and the youngster will now be handed an opportunity to show the German boss what he is capable of in pre-season.

Klopp himself is already a big fan of Morton, with the Liverpool manager lauding the midfielder as ‘incredible’ last summer. And whilst the youngest endured a difficult season at times with Blackburn, the 20-year-old has all the quality and potential in the world to make an impact with the Reds.
Indeed, Morton is very much at the start of his footballing career, and although another loan move looks likely this window, a summer with Liverpool’s senior team could do wonders for the talented midfielder in his development.
