Ibrahima Konate has lauded Trent Alexander-Arnold as one of the best passing players in world football, with the Liverpool star thriving in his new role as an inverted fullback.
Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, the French international lauded the 24-year-old defender for his key positional change that has allowed Liverpool to thrive in their new system, with Alexander-Arnold playing his best football all season from a central role.
Jurgen Klopp has instructed the England international to tuck into midfield alongside the likes of Curtis Jones and to create chances in the final third from the central, a move that has seen Liverpool go unbeaten in their last ten Premier League games, winning seven.

Given how good Alexander-Arnold’s passing is, the move has perfectly suited the Liverpool star, and Konate has noticed the change, with the defender saying: “This new system where Trent Alexander-Arnold is dropping more into midfield and getting more into attacking places is a key to the success we’ve been having recently.
“I think it is important that we can involve Trent further up the field because of the quality he has in his game. We all know what a great passer of the ball he is. I’d say he is one of the best passers of the ball in the world.”
Alexander-Arnold’s passing can reach new heights next season in new role

Alexander-Arnold’s passing range is second-to-none in the Premier League, and the move to midfield has allowed the Liverpool star unlock his true potential with the skill, where next season the fullback could reach new heights with his God-given ability.
The England international has always been touted for a move to central midfield, and with Klopp somewhat making the move this season, Alexander-Arnold can become a force from his new role next campaign after a pre-season of getting to know the position better.
