Jordan Henderson has lauded Mohamed Salah’s continuing development as Liverpool’s main attacker, with the winger on course to make history this week.

Speaking to the club’s official website, the Liverpool captain praised the Egyptian international for his ability to keep up his incredible level of goalscoring, with Salah now just two goals off the 30-mark in all competitions having become the Reds’ sixth-all-time leading scorer against Tottenham.

Breaking records has become something of a regular occurrence in Salah’s time at Liverpool, and Henderson has been more than impressed that the 30-year-old’s consistent development during his time at Anfield, with the winger refusing to drop in quality.

Indeed, Salah’s goalscoring exploits have been somewhat overlooked this season due to the ridiculous feats Manchester City’s Erling Haaland has achieved this campaign, yet there’s no denying that the Liverpool winger has continued to impress, and Henderson is aware of it.

The Liverpool captain said on Salah’s development over the years under Jurgen Klopp: “Seeing him develop the way he has done has been a privilege and it is no exaggeration to say he has gone on to become one of the most feared finishers in world football.”

Henderson knows Salah better than most people in football, and the England international’s comments should pique the interest of Liverpool supporters, who no doubt have seen the winger’s development first-hand over the years since arriving in 2017.

Nobody could have predicted the legacy Salah would leave at Anfield after signing from AS Roma six years ago, and with the attacker on the cusp of even more history this week, many Liverpool fans will want to see the Egyptian winger shatter all the records he can in the coming seasons.
