Liverpool have regularly watched Inter Milan midfielder Nicolo Barella this season, according to the Daily Mail.
As per the report, Reds scout Paul Goldrick has been a regular at the San Siro this term, having been tasked with reporting on the 26-year-old star.

The Italy international is included on Jurgen Klopp’s long list of midfield targets ahead of the summer window, alongside the likes of Mason Mount, Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch.
Liverpool are eyeing a move for Barella, but a deal ultimately depends on Inter’s willingness to sell the player.
Liverpool continue to scout Barella
With Liverpool set to undergo a midfield rebuild this summer, Barella would certainly be an excellent choice for the Merseyside club.
The likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita and James Milner are all set to depart Anfield at the end of the season, and various senior players, including Jordan Henderson and Fabinho, have been well below par this year.
As a result, the arrival of the ‘world-class’ Italian would be one most welcome by Reds fans.

Klopp would also be over the moon with the signing, having previously been blown away by his incredible work-rate in the middle of the park.
He would be an unbelievable signing for Liverpool, but due to his pedigree as one of Europe’s best, we’re not sure a deal will be that feasible to come by.
