Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that defender Ibrahima Konate has been missing from training.
Speaking during his pre-match press conference ahead of Monday night’s clash against Leeds United, the Reds boss shared an injury update after training this week.

“Ibrahima Konate couldn’t train for two days but should be back today,” said Klopp.
“Alisson didn’t train but should train today individually.
“We’ve had a few knocks but hopefully not more.”
Konate hasn’t trained for a few days
If Konate isn’t available to face Leeds on Monday, this will be a huge blow for Liverpool.
Alongside Virgil van Dijk, the Frenchman has become one of the best centre-backs in the Premier League.
Klopp’s team look far better defensively with the 23-year-old at the back than without.

Having arrived at Anfield in a deal worth £36m, Konate looks set to be at the heart of the Reds’s defence for years to come.
However, he certainly has had his fair share of injury issues this term. This is a worrying sign for the club, who may need to bring in an extra defender this summer.
