Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has claimed long-term absentee Luis Diaz will be available to play against Leeds United next Monday.
Speaking during his post-match press conference after the 2-2 draw against Arsenal today, the German revealed the 26-year-old will be fit enough to feature at Elland Road, after being out injured for five months.
“We now have a long week, and I like it. Real time to train and recover,” said Klopp.

“Thiago, super important that he has training sessions on top of the few he had.
“Luis Diaz will be back in full and normal team training and available for the game.
“These things are really, really good news.”
Diaz will be available vs Leeds
Today against Arsenal, Liverpool could have done with a bit more composure in the attacking third.
Mohamed Salah missed a huge penalty, Darwin Nunez should have finished past Aaron Ramsdale, and Ibrahima Konate didn’t know what to do when the ball landed at his chest in the final moments.
Before his injury, Diaz was the Reds’s best forward; this was during a time when it was only him and Alisson who were showing any kind of good form.

If anybody looked like scoring, it was the Colombia international, as he caused absolute chaos for opposition full-backs.
With his availability for the game against Leeds, the £37m Liverpool attacker will be a huge boost for Klopp – who will be looking to maintain this style of performance for the remainder of the season.
