Pundit Gary Neville has claimed Liverpool attacker Darwin Nunez should have done so much better when he was through on goal against Arsenal.
Speaking on commentary for Sky Sports, the former Manchester United man says he isn’t filled with confidence by the Uruguayan – that he still isn’t up to speed, after making the £64m move from Benfica last summer.
“It’s brilliant from Firmino and from Salah but you never really fancy Nunez,” said Neville.
“He never looks like he’s in control and that he knows what he’s going to do.
“Ramsdale just sticks a left arm on it. It’s a really poor strike.”

When the 23-year-old was surging through on goal in the latter stages of the game, he had a glorious chance to secure three points for Liverpool.
However, a poor finish saw Ramsdale palm the ball away, and the opportunity went missing.
This isn’t the first case of Nunez lacking composure in front of goal. On a few occasions, he has squandered relatively simple chances, before later scoring in far more difficult situations.
With the Uruguay international, we think it just comes down to confidence.
He is an incredibly talented player, and he certainly has the skillset to reach the very highest level.
However, when his confidence isn’t there, he sometimes struggles to convert. This will come with time, so we have full trust in Nunez as a player.
