Liverpool transfer target Jude Bellingham has now been ranked as a better prospect than Arsenal star Bukayo Saka.
ESPN have now released their list of footballâs top young stars aged 21 or under, comprising of 39 special talents.
Anfield youngster Harvey Elliott has made the cut in 36th place, but a target of the clubâs actually tops the rankings as the worldâs most exciting prospect.
Unsurprisingly, that accolade goes to Borussia Dortmund superstar Jude Bellingham.
ESPN were full of praise for the 19-year-old, having claimed: âThe England international features an exceptional array of physical, technical and mental attributes, and as the perfect box-to-box midfielder â with the versatility to feature deeper or higher up the pitch as a starting position â he is a generational talent.â
Arsenal gem Bukayo Saka trails behind his international teammate in third place, having catapulted the Gunners to an unexpected charge for the Premier League title this season.
Bellingham ranks higher than Saka
For any Liverpool fan, either player would be a phenomenal addition to Jurgen Kloppâs squad.
The Reds were previously touted with interest in the Premier League winger, but the North London club were quick to shut this down with a new contract offer.
Instead, the Merseyside outfit seem to have placed all the efforts towards signing Bellingham at the end of the season.
With price-tags quoted up to the ÂŁ132m mark, the Dortmund midfielder will require the vast majority of Liverpoolâs transfer budget. But according to ESPN, the fee will most definitely be worth matching.
Hailed as an âincredibleâ player by Trent Alexander-Arnold, this would probably be the most illustrious signing in the clubâs history.
Whether it happens or not remains another story completely!
