Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham says he can’t wait to play alongside Liverpool target Declan Rice for England tonight.
Speaking with Channel 4 ahead of the Three Lions’ Euro 2024 qualifier against Italy, the 19-year-old – who is also a major target of the Reds – was full of praise for the West Ham skipper, who he is set to partner alongside Kalvin Phillips in the middle of the park.
“I’m really looking forward to it, [playing alongside them],” said Bellingham.
“Two quality players. I have played with them both separately and now I get the chance to play with them both together.

“The good thing about all of us is that we have different attributes which can complement each other.”
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Liverpool are still fully intent on signing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham this summer.
Elsewhere, Italian reporter Rudy Galetti has claimed the Merseyside outfit are ‘really interested’ in bringing Rice to Anfield – with the Hammers expected to cash in.
Bellingham excited to play alongside Rice
In a dream world, we would see Bellingham lining up alongside Rice in Liverpool shirts next season.
However, that is merely a fantasy, as the club aren’t guaranteed to sign either of them.
The Dortmund superstar is likely to cost in excess of £110m, whilst the Irons captain could fetch around £70m on the market.

The Reds do need multiple midfield additions this summer, but if either Bellingham or Rice are secured, then it’s highly unlikely FSG would be willing to bring the other in as another big-name signing.
In reality, Jurgen Klopp is expected to focus his attention on landing the 19-year-old, as he has been courting his arrival for a year now.
However, the Premier League ace would also be an incredible signing, so it’s not one the club should completely dismiss.
