Liverpool are ready to build their team around Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, according to FootballTransfers.

As per the report, although there have been suggestions that he will end up joining the highest bidder, the German club will give the player a huge say in who he signs for.

It is said that the 19-year-old is a massive fan of Reds manager Jurgen Klopp. He also likes the look of the ongoing project, and the fact that the club would build the entire midfield – and team – around him.

Despite rumours, the Merseyside outfit remain confident they will sign Bellingham this summer.

However, both Manchester City and Real Madrid continue to pose a big threat to this.

Liverpool would build around Bellingham

Arriving at Anfield, Bellingham would become one of the major stars at the club – if not the biggest.

The likes of Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk are now in their thirties, and it is only a matter of years until their roles start to reduce in the team.

Therefore, the England international could take the mantle as Klopp’s number one player.

This wouldn’t necessarily be the case at Man City or Madrid.

At the Etihad, Erling Haaland has already established himself as that player.

At the Bernabeu, Vinicius Junior is just one of many stars amongst the Los Blancos squad.

Thus, Bellingham – who has been dubbed ‘world-class’ by England teammate Kieran Trippier – has a brilliant opportunity to become a legend at Anfield.
