Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham is now deemed more likely to sign for Manchester City or Real Madrid this summer, compared with his chances of joining Liverpool.
That’s according to The Athletic and their lead football correspondent David Ornstein.
As per the report, it is increasingly unlikely that the Reds will land the 19-year-old in the summer transfer window.

It is said that “the anticipated fee, the financial power of rival suitors and their reticence about entering a bidding war at the level expected” has created huge doubt over Jurgen Klopp’s chances.
The Merseyside outfit are still a possible destination, but Man City and Real Madrid are seen to be in stronger positions, as things stand.
Ultimately, Liverpool’s budget will impact their chances of signing Bellingham this summer.
Liverpool increasingly unlikely to sign Bellingham
This is certainly not the news Liverpool fans will have hoped to have woken up to this morning.
For months and months now, the Reds have been rumoured to be the front-runners in the race to land Bellingham.
However, with just how poor the side have been this season, it appears this has now been thrown in doubt.

It has been said that if Liverpool fail to qualify for the Champions League this term, then their transfer budget will be significantly lower than it otherwise would.
This hasn’t gone down well with the Anfield faithful, as the club have failed to spend adequately for years now – when they have been in the competition year in, year out.
Having opted to not sign other midfielders in order to land Bellingham, this doesn’t look good for the Reds. Fans certainly won’t be happy with the news.
