Former Reds defender Jose Enrique has said he wishes Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka actually played for Liverpool.
After the attacker bagged twice and assisted in the Gunners’ 4-1 victory over Crystal Palace yesterday, the Spaniard took to Twitter to hail his praises.

“I love him as a player. I wish he was at LFC,” wrote Enrique.
“Work rate, nice guy, dressing room love him (and you can see that) – manager as well.
“World class qualities such a young age. Well done, Saka.”
Enrique wishes Saka played for Liverpool
Saka has enjoyed an incredible rise onto the scene in recent years, and he has lately established himself as one of the best attackers in the Premier League.
In 28 league matches this term, the England international has bagged 12 goals and ten assists – becoming the first player in the division this season to reach double figures for both metrics.
As Mohamed Salah is 30 years old, the 21-year-old would be an incredible long-term replacement for the right winger position.

However, although Liverpool have seemingly explored the possibility in the past, this is a very unlikely scenario.
The Reds have already added numerous talented youngsters to their ranks, including the likes of Darwin Nunez, Cody Gakpo and even Ben Doak.
Therefore, even though Saka would be a fantastic signing for Jurgen Klopp, the side are already in safe hands.
