Arsenal are now set to treble Bukayo Saka’s wage, amid interest from Liverpool.
Currently, the England international is thought to be on £70,000-a-week.
The north London club are confident of coming to an agreement, despite the demand of some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
Saka set to be offered new Arsenal deal, amid Liverpool interest
Having scored twice for the Three Lions in the side’s opening game of the Word Cup, Saka’s stock is sure to rise whilst he’s out in Qatar.
Domestically, the youngster has played a major part in Arsenal’s rise to the top of the Premier League table.
In 14 top-flight appearances this season, the 21-year-old has bagged four goals and six assists.
The attacker also averages the highest number of key passes per game, alongside being an absolute nuisance for full-backs to defend against with his electric pace and tricky footwork.
Hailed as an ‘incredible’ player by Klopp, it is no surprise to see Saka linked with an Anfield switch.
With the Merseyside outfit now looking to add young players for the future, the 21-year-old would be the perfect addition to the Liverpool squad.
Whether the club would match Arsenal’s mammoth offer awaits to be seen, but it is probably likely the youngster remains in north London.
