BBC pundit Dion Dublin was left amazed by a moment of magic from Liverpool attacker Cody Gakpo against Manchester United yesterday.
Speaking on commentary for BBC Radio 5 Live, the former England international was stunned by the 23-year-old’s excellent touch and curling finish for his first goal of the game.
“That’s some incredible football from Liverpool,” said Dublin.

“He [Gakpo] takes his time and waits to split the defence and then curls it.
“What a finish and what a ball from Robertson.”
Pundit amazed by Gakpo’s talent
After a difficult start to life on Merseyside, Gakpo has been getting better and better each passing week.
Against United yesterday, that was his best performance in a Liverpool shirt.
Having arrived in January in a deal worth £37m, the Dutchman looked absolutely emphatic on the ball in the final third.

Dropping deep to pick up possession, he would drive at Erik ten Hag’s defence and create opportunities for Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah.
The 23-year-old was clinical in front of goal, scoring twice with two very different, but both brilliant, finishes to add to the Reds’ stunning scoreline.
Gakpo seriously proved any doubters wrong yesterday – and the best is still yet to come. What a performance from all the boys.
