Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has reacted to Mohamed Salah becoming the Merseyside club’s all-time top goal-scorer in the Premier League.
Speaking with Sky Sports after the Reds’ 7-0 annihilation of Manchester United, as shared by Football Daily, the German was full of praise for the ‘Egyptian king’ after he achieved his incredible record.
“129 goals. It’s absolutely insane,” said Klopp.
“What a number. It’s really special and he’s a special player.
“We appreciate him now but, in the future, [people] looking back people will realise WOW.”
The attacker overtook Robbie Fowler to become the club’s all-time scorer in the English top-flight after scoring twice tonight, bringing his total to 129 goals in the division.
