Liverpool are fully aware of Adrien Rabiot’s contract demands and are ready to meet them.
That’s according to Calciomercato, who feature an update on Rabiot’s current situation with Juventus today. They claim that talks are now underway with Juve in order to extend the Frenchman’s stay in Turin beyond this summer.
There is said to be a willingness between the parties to ‘try everything’ to make that happen. However, this reportedly isn’t going to be easy.
It’s claimed that the attention of half of Europe’s elite is making life difficult for Juve. While they’re willing to offer the 27-year-old around £6m-per-year, Rabiot and his mother are holding out for closer to £9m-per-year.

Liverpool, supposedly, are willing to pay this. But they’re reportedly not alone in that. Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and PSG are also ready to give Rabiot what he wants.
As well as the basic wage, the France international is looking for a hefty signing bonus and a ‘key role’ in a title-challenging team. Not much then!
Rabiot looking for Premier League solution
This is a rumour that just won’t go away quietly. For months, Liverpool have reportedly been playing the waiting game for Rabiot.
There’s no doubt that he could offer something to the squad. As Gianluigi Buffon once claimed, the curly-haired maestro is a ‘fantastic’ player, who’s relatively well-rounded [SportStar].

But is he what Liverpool really need? In short, no. As Jurgen Klopp has rightfully started to point out, the Reds are really lacking physicality in the midfield.
They need someone to give Fabinho a hand with the dirty work in the middle of the park. With the best will in the world, Rabiot isn’t that player.
Nevertheless, just last month Liverpool were said to be keeping in ‘regular contact’ with Rabiot’s camp.
The player himself has admitted that he’s keen to test himself in the Premier League. With Juve struggling to meet his demands, a move to English football feels inevitable. Its still seems impossible that that will be at Liverpool, but stranger things have happened.
