Former Liverpool player Jose Enrique has slammed what he saw from his old team as they drew 2-2 with Wolves tonight.
The Reds ended up level in a topsy-turvy game at Anfield. They go into the hat for the FA Cup fourth-round, but will have to navigate a replay at Molineux to get themselves through.
It was far from convincing yet again from Liverpool, though. And taking to Twitter, Enrique aired what a lot of Reds fans must be thinking right now.
“Horrible performance,” he slammed. “The worse for me is like we don’t know which way we are playing. We lost our identity and is very worrying because is been this whole season like this.”

Enrique is right on the money here. Liverpool look all at sea in every single area of the pitch.
Where they once bore resemblance to a very well-oiled machine, they now look completely and utterly lost out on the pitch.
There appears to be no game-plan in any phase of play. They rely on individual brilliance far too much and, because they still have excellent players, they get away with things to an extent.
But for anyone used to watching Liverpool over recent years, you can really see that something isn’t right.
What that is? It’s impossible to say. Jurgen Klopp and his coaching team can’t seem to put their finger on it either, because the Reds keep turning in the same useless performance every single game.
Until things improve, there’ll continue to be an unease amongst the fanbase.
Every match gives a chance to turn things around, but Liverpool keep on failing to take those chances.
Having put out a strong team this evening, Klopp will also be absolutely crestfallen to not have gone through tonight. This was a chance to gain some rhythm back with his starters. That didn’t happen. It keeps on not happening. Concerning times at Anfield.
