Borussia Dortmund want to sign Ajax midfielder and Liverpool target Mohammed Kudus in the summer as a replacement for Jude Bellingham.
That’s according to Sky Sports Germany reporters Florian Plettenberg and Marc Behrenbeck, with the news also relayed by 90min.
They claim the Bundesliga outfit plan on reinvesting some of the money they receive for the 19-year-old when he inevitably leaves the club at the end of the season.
It is believed vague talks have taken place, but serious negotiations are yet to be entered.

However, it is also believed the likes of Arsenal, Newcastle and numerous other sides are interested in the 22-year-old.
According to a previous report by 90min, after tracking the player for a while, the Reds were seriously impressed with Kudus at the World Cup.
Jurgen Klopp would be keen to bring him to Anfield, and it is said a fee of around £30m would be required to do so.
Dortmund want to sign Kudus to replace Bellingham
With Liverpool’s huge desire to land Bellingham at Merseyside in the summer, it now appears BVB have resigned to the fact they will lose the England international.
However, they have wasted no time in identifying replacements, with Kudus at the top of their list.
Coincidentally, with the Reds needing numerous midfield additions, the Ghana international has been of interest to Klopp’s scouting team.

Earlier this term, the attacking midfielder impressed when he scored against Liverpool in the Champions League. Klopp took to his post-match interview with BT Sport to hail praise on the youngster, during which he claimed, “it was an incredible strike from Kudus”.
Although Bellingham will always remain as the number one target, the likes of Kudus will also be of interest to the Reds.
However, if Liverpool signing the Dortmund star meant the Ajax youngster going the other way to the German club, it’s unlikely Klopp and co would argue with this decision.
