According to 90min, the Reds have now made contact with the representatives of the midfielder, to register their interest over a potential move.

Whilst it was reported the 20-year-old has a staggering £86m release clause in his contract, The Athletic have recently claimed that with Valencia’s financial struggles, the Spanish club would be willing to listen to bids north of £17.3m.

Alongside the Merseyside outfit, Chelsea and Arsenal have been touted with interest.

However, amid all of this interest, Musah has taken to Twitter to share how happy he is to be back with the La Liga club.

Happy to stay at Valencia?

The youngster seems rather content in Spain, having left Arsenal to join Valencia back in 2019.

However, following an impressive stint at the World Cup, a whole host of clubs are expected to be keeping an eye on the player’s situation.

With strong interest from the Premier League, it is possible we see Musah return to England – having departed just three years ago.

At £86m, a prospective transfer would have been highly unlikely.

However, following the news that the Spanish outfit would likely accept around the £20m mark, a swoop in January has become a realistic possibility.

Teams outside the Premier League ‘big six’ may also involve themselves in the race at that price, as the 20-year-old’s potential is very clear to see.

Hailed as ‘incredible’ by former Valencia coach Jose Bordalas, the youngster has caught the attention of Liverpool’s recruitment staff.

With Jurgen Klopp’s desire to sign a midfielder in the winter window, Musah could be a brilliant addition to the Merseyside squad.
