Liverpool left-back Kostas Tsimikas has spoken about how much he enjoys playing alongside midfielder Harvey Elliott.
Taking to an interview with the club’s official website, the 26-year-old was questioned about his recent holiday with the youngster, to which he discussed the pair’s friendship.

“We [don’t] talk that much [about] football,” Tsimikas said.
“He’s a great guy. He’s my good friend here in the club, so I really enjoy every minute I’m with him and we speak [about] everything.
“I really love him as a person and, of course, as a football player.”

Although the Greek is not a guaranteed starter in the Liverpool XI, he appears to play a huge role behind the scenes, regarding the squad’s morale.
Praised for how he is always full of smiles, the defender seems to have an infectious attitude which benefits everyone around him.
As a 19-year-old, Tsimikas is a great role model for Elliott – who has emerged as a regular in the first-team ahead of schedule.

The youngster is deemed one of the most exciting talents in English football, and the club hope to keep hold of him for years to come.
