‘An important update’: Romano names ‘the only person’ Liverpool will deal with for Jude Bellingham

Fabrizio Romano understands there is only one agent involved in any deal for Jude Bellingham. It’s important as Liverpool push for a move.

Fabrizio Romano shared an update on Jude Bellingham this week. He took to his YouTube channel to mention the four teams leading the way for Borussia Dortmund’s star asset.

Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea and Real Madrid all hope to sign Bellingham. Only one will get him, of course, and Romano claims all will deal with the same person on the player’s side of things.

“An important update on who’s taking care of the decisions – Mark Bellingham,” said Romano. “He is the only person, the father of the player.

“If you see about agents involved other than Mark Bellingham, he is not involved. Other agents, in general, are not involved. It’s Mark Bellingham – the family of Jude Bellingham will take care of this really big transfer.”

There’s talk that Bellingham’s family want him to join Liverpool – so this can only be seen as good news for the Reds. The player doesn’t have an outside influence talking in his ear, nor anyone with financial motivations.

Instead, Bellingham has his Dad looking out for him. Again, we can’t help but feel that Liverpool see that as an advantage – if only because the likes of City will come at it from a financial angle.

And the truth is, Liverpool are beginning to look very confident with the Bellingham deal. Reports suggest they’re planning with him in mind, and that a top-four finish this season isn’t even necessary.

We wouldn’t be getting his name on the back of a shirt just yet but Liverpool haven’t had negative news about their pursuit in some time. There’s a very good chance that Bellingham ends up as a Red next year. And Romano’s update makes us feel even more confident of that.
