Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp may be granted a long-standing transfer wish with the signing of Sofyan Amrabat in January.
That’s according to Corriere dello Sport, who speak of the Reds’ interest in the Fiorentina star.
Following the club’s interest in the Morocco international, the Italian outlet claim that Klopp has ‘long since made a request to the board to be able to have a player just like Amrabat’, whom he could sign in the winter window.

Although the Merseyside outfit have their full intent on signing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, it is suggested they could also look to add another player to the position – but someone of a different profile.
According to journalist Matteo Moretto, Klopp wants to sign a more physical midfielder for his squad, as well as the 19-year-old talent.
The Liverpool boss sees Amrabat as the perfect player for that, with hopes that he can make the switch in January.
Klopp could be granted transfer wish
Morocco’s national team head coach, Walid Regragui, believes the 26-year-old has the quality to perform at the top level, and he claims the player will make the move in January.
“Trust me, Amrabat is a world-class player. He is a ‘key’ player in my plans,” he said.
“I expect him to move to one of the major European clubs after the World Cup.”
With Fabinho being the only senior player at Liverpool able to excel as a defensive midfielder, Klopp has been looking to add competition to the mix.

Ambarat would be the ideal addition, as he has all the characteristics needed to fulfill the role.
With great physicality and clever positioning, the Moroccan has demonstrated at the World Cup that he should be playing at the highest level – week-in, week-out.
Having needed this signing for a while now, Klopp may be about to be granted his long-standing transfer wish – adding quality in depth to his midfield.
