TalkSPORT pundit Darren Bent has shared Jordan Henderson’s text to him about Jude Bellingham. The Liverpool captain knows what he sees.

Darren Bent told TalkSport on Thursday that he sent a message to Jordan Henderson about Jude Bellingham. The latter is thriving at the World Cup, forcing everyone to take note as he blossoms into one of the world’s best midfielders.

Henderson has arguably helped that happen. The Liverpool captain entered the starting lineup against Wales and Senegal – and Bellingham’s play improved as a result. That’s certainly how Gareth Southgate sees it.

And while watching the games, Bent felt the need to message Henderson, a former teammate of his.

“[Bellingham] could be one of the best midfielders in the world because he’s got all the attributes,” said Bent. “He’s quick, he’s strong, he’s powerful, he can score a goal and can see a pass.

“I messaged Hendo the other day, and I said, ‘Jude Bellingham, what a player. All he messaged me back was, ‘You have no idea.’”

Jordan Henderson’s Jude Bellingham text

We’re starting to get the sense that no one knows how good Jude Bellingham could actually become. He’s already playing like a leader in England’s team – and doing it at 19.

We haven’t really seen anything like it before, certainly not in England’s midfield. Bellingham is a truly remarkable player and one that, fingers crossed, could end up at Anfield.

Real Madrid have reportedly been informed that Liverpool lead the race to sign him. On top of that, Bellingham would prefer a move to Merseyside and it feels as though the Reds simply need to front the cash at this point.

The problem there is that Bellingham could cost £130m. But for a player whose potential appears to be limitless, is that really too much?

The more we watch Bellingham, the more it looks like a no-brainer.
