Ruud Gullit has slammed Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker, claiming he ‘always’ has a mistake in him.
Speaking on beIN Sports (05/12/22 at 6:40 pm), the Dutch legend claimed he doesn’t rate the Brazil no.1. Instead, he says the Selecao would be better off with Ederson between the posts.

“What I have with Alisson is that there is always a moment that he turns off, especially with the ball at his feet,” said Gullit.
“That’s where he makes mistakes. Unbelievable. There is one moment like that. He always has that. What is this? He has that.
“I like the other one (Ederson). Yes, I like him more. He is so good with his feet.
“I have a better feeling when he is behind than without.”
Gullit slams Alisson
Whilst the Dutchman is backed by an illustrious career, this slander of Alisson is certainly incorrect.
The 30-year-old has been absolutely sensational since arriving at Anfield in 2018, and particularly so this term.
Liverpool have been woeful defensively at times this season, and without the Brazilian there to save them, Jurgen Klopp’s side would be much lower in the Premier League table. Miraculously, the Reds have only conceded 17 goals.
Even playing out in Qatar for Brazil, Alisson has been incredible. The shot-stopper has played three games thus far and has conceded just one goal.

On the other hand, when the Liverpool man was rotated for Ederson against Cameroon, the Selecao lost the match.
Therefore, it is absolute nonsense what Gullit has conjured up. Although he may be a footballing hero, he is massively off the mark here.
