Liverpool have been extremely impressed by Ghana international Mohammed Kudus at the World Cup, according to 90min.
As per the report, the Reds were already aware of the 22-year-old’s talent before he featured out in Qatar.
However, having started just five league games for Ajax this season, the tournament has given Jurgen Klopp’s scouting department time to monitor his progress more closely.
As a result, it is believed the youngster has really impressed Liverpool whilst playing for Ghana.

Having been used as more of an attacking midfielder, the Merseyside outfit believe Kudus could make the transition to English football.
From the Premier League, Arsenal, Everton, Newcastle and Tottenham are touted with interest, whilst Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain, Lyon, Napoli and Atletico Madrid have all been alerted to his progress.
Furthermore, according to 90min’s report, Ajax now value Kudus at around £30m.
Liverpool impressed by Kudus
This isn’t the first time the Anfield outfit have been left impressed by the Ghanaian.
During a sensational run of form, Kudus scored in three consecutive Champions League matches earlier this term. One of these came against Liverpool, with a thunderous finish drawing a response from the Reds boss.
Speaking to BT Sport after the game, Klopp hailed praise on the 22-year-old, saying: “It was an incredible strike from Kudus.”
With this initial alert to his talents, the Merseysiders have likely been monitoring his progress ever since.

Now with Ghana’s national team, the midfielder has proven he can do it on the biggest stage of world football.
Therefore, with such admiration for the player, hopefully the club make a move for Kudus in January.
