Red Bull Salzburg attacker and reported Liverpool target Noah Okafor has told his agent he wants to join AC Milan, according to Calciomercato.
The Italian outlet claims the 22-year-old is very thankful for the interest from the Serie A giants, and he has asked his representatives to investigate the situation further ahead of a potential move.

It is said that the centre-forward wants to leave the Austrian outfit ahead of next season. He hopes to join a top club, presumably with European pedigree – like Milan.
However, Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg has previously claimed that the Reds could look to sign Okafor in the January window.
Therefore, this could be a major blow in Jurgen Klopp’s transfer plans.
Liverpool target Okafor wants to join Milan
Okafor has been incredible for Salzburg this season, and the Reds were seemingly set to make a move for the youngster in January.
In 14 Austrian Bundesliga games this term, the attacker has bagged seven goals. On top of this, he has also managed to net three times in the Champions League; this includes against his desired destination: Milan.
Impressively as a deep-lying centre-forward, the Switzerland international still manages to rank just outside the top 20 percent for non-penalty goals scored by attackers across Europe.

Okafor was previously hailed as a ‘magnificent’ player by Switzerland U21’s boss Mauro Lustrinelli, and now it seems he’s living up to his potential.
Although the youngster has told his agent he wants to join the Italian giants, if Liverpool were to step-up their pursuit of the attacker, they would have a stronger chance of landing him in January.
Therefore, if the Anfield hierarchy are serious about it arrival, they should do all they can to bring him in.
