Taking to an interview with The Daily Mail, the former United States manager hailed praise on the 19-year-old attacking midfielder. He expects the youngster to impress for the German national team out in Qatar, in a breakout campaign at his first global tournament.
“He’s phenomenal, a unique talent,” Klinsmann said.
“If he plays like he does for Bayern Munich and keeps his lightness and his easy way of doing things, then I think we are going to see a jewel coming out in this World Cup.”

Klinsmann praises Musiala, amid Liverpool interest
Alongside Borussia Dortmund starlet Jude Bellingham, Musiala is another youngster from an English academy tearing up the Bundesliga.
Having left Chelsea for Bayern in 2019, the 19-year-old has now emerged as a mainstay in Julian Nagelsmann’s XI.
In 14 top-flight matches this season, the youngster has incredibly bagged nine goals and seven assists from midfield.
Musiala has already amassed 100 appearances in a Bayern shirt – a stunning statistic for anyone, let alone a teenager.
Regarding Jurgen Klopp’s side, Liverpool could most certainly do with an attacking midfielder like Musiala in the middle of the park.
With Fabinho holding the fort in front of the defence, Thiago is allowed to spray the ball around the pitch. This leaves a more deep-lying playmaker to slot in on the other side of the central three.
The German’s dazzling footwork and incredible vision would suit this role perfectly, as he would be given the freedom to get involved in and around the box.
If the Reds are ever given the chance to sign Musiala, they should snap Bayern’s hand off.
However, this is somewhat unlikely, given he is one of the best talents out of Germany.
