Liverpool squad happy for Konate

Although he only arrived on Merseyside last summer, the Frenchman has certainly made a great impression at Kirkby.

On the pitch, the 23-year-old has been hailed for his physical capabilities. His size and strength mean he dominates in the tackle, as well as in the air. Furthermore, his incredible speed is somewhat unnatural for a man of his stature.

Off the field, the centre-back has received plaudits for his fantastic work-ethic and great attitude behind the scenes. Consequently, he has been deemed a pleasure to work with.

All in all, Konate seems to be the perfect professional. Still at such a young age, he has bags of time to improve his game at the highest level.

With international duty now on the cards, he can expect a long and prosperous career with the France national team.

With the level of experience and knowledge he is able to absorb playing next to Virgil van Dijk, Konate has the ultimate teacher to learn from.

Therefore, it’s no surprise to see the youngster reaping the rewards of all of his hard-work.
