Arthur Melo sent a message to the Liverpool squad as they qualified for the Champions League knockout stages last night.
The Reds beat Ajax 3-0 to seal their progression to the last-16. And taking to Instagram stories after the game, Arthur congratulated his Liverpool teammates.
“Come on boys,” wrote the injured midfielder complete with a thumbs up emoji.
Arthur’s only minutes for Liverpool came in the competition, the 26-year-old played 13 minutes or so on the Matchday 1 defeat to Napoli.
With a timescale yet to be formally placed on his recovery, he could yet play a part in the knockout stages.

Arthur still supporting Liverpool from afar
It’s nice to see Arthur still making himself feel a part of the Liverpool squad. The former Barcelona man had been working hard to get back to full fitness before injury struck him down.
Having put the hours in playing and training with the U21s, the setback must have been a huge personal blow.
In all likelihood it has also robbed Arthur of the chance to secure a permanent move to Merseyside.
There could still be time to make an impression in what remains of the season upon his return. But it would take something special to convince Liverpool to pay his £30m+ release clause.

Reports have suggested that Juventus could be willing to accept a lower fee for Arthur. Should he impress the coaching staff behind the scenes, then maybe that could become more palatable.
With the player featuring so little this season, it seems highly unlikely that Juve would be able to get anything like his current asking price.
As a result, perhaps there’s still something left to play for for Arthur. In the meantime, it’s clear that Liverpool will have one more supporter watching from the treatment room.
