A Spanish journalist shares where Jude Bellingham prefers to move right now as Liverpool and Real Madrid chase his signature. The midfielder is the most in-demand player around.
Cadena SER journalist Pacojo claims Jude Bellingham is leaning towards Liverpool right now. This is as the transfer race for Borussia Dortmund’s star asset continues to grow.
The journalist believes Real Madrid, the other team prominently in the race, ‘would have a preferential option’, as translated by Sport Witness. Their relationship with Dortmund will help them in that regard, it seems.
“As of now, he is more inclined to play for Liverpool,” comes the line on Bellingham. It seems that if the deal were done now, the true advantage would be with the Reds.
Jude Bellingham prefers Liverpool to Real Madrid
If true, this is incredibly promising for Liverpool. This is as they’re in the middle of their worst form for years, after all, and yet the player is seemingly undeterred.
Thus if Liverpool can turn things around anytime soon, they may be able to push for a commanding lead in the race. That’s the feeling we get from the claims, anyway.
But there is a problem, of course. This is how things stand right now but this Bellingham fight could get out of hand. His performance this week against Sevilla was a reminder of just how good he’s becoming.

Bellingham is hitting incredible levels and captaining Dortmund at 19. This is no ordinary young player and it won’t be long before we hear Manchester City’s name mentioned more prominently. Maybe even Paris Saint-Germain’s, depending on their midfield plans in 2023.
No one at Liverpool should get ahead of themselves, then. This could turn quickly and as Bellingham develops, the pursuit of his signature will, too.
All the Reds can do is play their best football and hope it continues to sway him.
