Jordan Henderson has nothing but positive things to say about Jude Bellingham, a reported transfer target of Liverpool. The two could be club teammates next year.
Reports linking Liverpool with Jude Bellingham have been constant over the last year. He’s the go-to target – the one that could go down as the Reds’ biggest ever signing.
The Telegraph are the latest to report on the interest. Of course, Liverpool aren’t the only club hoping to snag Bellingham – Chelsea and Real Madrid are just two of the interested parties. In truth, every major club across Europe would love to have him.
Liverpool, though, are particularly in need of an elite midfielder. James Milner, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are all out of contract in 2023. Thiago and Jordan Henderson will wind down soon, neither boasting the most exemplary injury record.
Bellingham, then, would be a magnificent signing for Liverpool. We think he’d be perfect as a world-class talent who fits the profile of a Jurgen Klopp midfielder while qualifying as homegrown.
One thing’s for sure – Henderson would be a fan of his signing.

“I like Jude, I think he’s an amazing player,” said Henderson, per the Mirror. “He’s a fantastic professional and his mentality is really key for his development.
“I almost don’t want to big him up too much because he’s still a young lad! There will be a lot of pressure on him at a young age, but of course, he’s a top, top player, and I’m sure he’ll have a big part to play in Qatar.”
Bellingham has the captain’s seal of approval, to say the least. Not that it’s a shock – everyone rates Bellingham at the top level and what he’s doing at 19 is extraordinary.
The midfielder would cost a fortune but no one would bat an eyelid at the price, should Liverpool get it done. We’ll be crossing our fingers for the next few months.
